Visa not required for a stay of max. 90 days for:
- nationals of Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland (Republic of), Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russian Federation, San Marino, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tajikistan, U.S.A., United Kingdom, Ukraine and Uzbekistan;
- holders of diplomatic and official passports, issued to nationals of Montenegro (rep. Of) and Serbia (rep. Of);
- holders of diplomatic and service passports issued to nationals of Albania, Brazil, China (People's Rep.), Croatia, Iran, Israel, Turkey, Turkmenistan and Vietnam;
- holders of a "laissez-passer" issued by the United Nations.
Visa not required for those continuing to a third country by the same or first connecting aircraft within 4 hours. Passengers must hold confirmed onward tickets and all documents required for their next destination. Leaving the airport is not allowed.
Visa issuance
Visas to R. Moldova should be obtained prior to arrival. If required, visas can be issued by representations of Moldova (rep. Of) in Austria (Vienna), Belarus (Minsk), Belgium (Brussels), Bulgaria (Sofia), China People's Rep. (Beijing), France (Paris), Germany (Berlin and Frankfurt), Greece (Athens), Hungary (Budapest), Israel (Tel Aviv), Italy (Rome), Poland (Warsaw), Romania (Bucharest), Russian Fed. (Moscow), Turkey (Ankara), Switzerland, (Geneva), Ukraine (Kiev), United Kingdom (London), U.S.A. (Washington) and Uzbekistan (Tashkent).
